But that depends, if you are doing a human skull farm than of course it is. If your enemy would have lived to 80+ years otherwise this is 100℅ more environmental friendly. Also the skulls reusable I guess.

Curious here how is storage an issue? Lemmy is 90% text and if you do the proxy for pictures its like 10%. If you use pictures from elsewhere and don't use pictures it's all text. I have had lemmy hosted for over a year now and it's using under 35GB. I have a not that subscribes to top posts on larger instances so I should have a lot of communities loaded.

Edit: oh yeah Pictrs integrates with S3 api now so you can offload image storage to cloud for pennies.

Batman seems pretty ethical to do it. Others? Probably not. Still he is better than the billionaires we got.

Don't forget cloud saves. Saving millions of peoples thousands of games I'm sure takes up some disk space and cost even if users don't launch the game again.

Opening any service / port has a impact to security in your network. Vpns are meant to be exposed and are generally secure. As long as your router updates and fixes security issues there shouldn't be an issue with the router providing the VPN.

Last time I saw this someone mentioned the football ones. They are basically the same shape as the eggs for Easter, but show the lines on a football in the packaging.

No, but it was still a similar experience to what others had in Linux in this post. Honestly never had an update be a problem on a Linux machine. It also wasn't it taking long. It provides a generic error that could mean 100 different things and I had to troubleshoot to find which one it was.

To be fair my child's daycare asked for papers from the doctor every time they went, often enough it was forgotten, and you could just sign saying the child's exempt to not have to deal with the papers.

That's my car in the picture that I bought this year! Subaru and government fucked me out of my 8K rebate and locked me into the purchase to try and get it or losing $3k.

I have to pay 20% of my income on this loan, Subaru provided a low interest rate loan because of the rebate thing while loan interest rates were over like 6%. I do pay more though making it 25% of my income. Combined with my mortgage I am paying 50% of my income on loans.

Since it is electric and my commute was costing me $160 prior, I am saving about $100/month on gas at least. After 3 years I should have it paid off early. Thinking of getting solar afterwards so hopefully one year in my life my costs will go down enough that I can afford to do nice things or retire.

Since the director asked to discuss more in WhatsApp, does Russian military personnel seriously use WhatsApp for communication regarding military equipment? Trusting meta providing end to end encryption feels like a bold choice for a government.
