I just about made my wife pee laughing at me.

Me, reads post, feeling it speaking directly to me, but never having put absurdism direclty in front of me, despite my absolute die-hard adherence to it. "Waiting for Godot", huh wonder of the "Godot "(in my head pronounced go-dot) game engine.

Ask wife, Have you ever read "Waiting for go-dot"...

"You mean, waiting for gah-doh"

"Oh-shit.."

I'd heard of the play, with the correct pronunciation, but never put it together in my head.

Anyway, I'm off to find more defined absurdism. Thanks for this so that I could get it out of the way with my wife and not in front of regular humans.

One of my favorite lines in one of my favorite song.

"Can't believe how strange it is to be anything at all" - In an Aeroplane over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel

Finding a good client is hard. Folks recommend the Nvidia Shield Pro. Finding something that plays all the formats and can pass audio through hdmi to a AV receiver. Umcompressed HD audio, HDR/10/DolbyVision. Etc.

If I can just pop a debian machine down, that is great, but a hardware guide would be nice to see.

I get what he is saying, but I loved both 'dig' games. Could not stand Heist, and haven't set aside time for build.

Good on them I guess.

It is windows, so your deep debug/fix options are limited. I've had some luck with the 'powercfg' commands disabling sleep/wake for some sources.

The other suggestion, wake timers, is probably your problem, since windows wants to stay out of your way, and in their mind that means to wake up at 3am to take updates.. what could go wrong?

Crap this is amazing, but if i ever see another 8 page long image it will be too soon. I'm old and somehow my eyes are older.

It was a really good movie, but paints Earnest as much more of a patsy than I came away with after the book. Also, the book reveals that this was one such story and the magnitude of the deaths was even more obscene.

I bought one 2 days ago as well, got it today, just the cpu cooler, no cpu.

It was a Ryzen 5700G, i went with used "Very Good", because fuck it just a cpu, but apparently that mean no actual cpu.

Returned and ordered another, new this time.

I was excited for Oppenheimer, having read The Making of the Atomic Bomb and Dark Sun: The Making of the Hydrogen Bomb both by Richard Rhodes.

The movie just followed him, which i did enjoy, but if you want the wider story, plenty of physics, and spycraft, those books are fantastic.
