The Democrats are going to try to ratfuck him, sure. They're never going to get the message

But this is how we clean them out. This is why AOC and Bernie are doing rallies - so that every seat that comes up is filled with a progressive. And this is a big seat

As for it being too late... Yeah, we're fucked. But we can still make things better. There's no reason to yield ground, maga is incredibly incompetent - they can be beat.

And there will be an after

No, it's not

Or maybe I should say, that's not mayo. Real mayo is extremely hard to find these days

Fuck that, I want more Zohrans. I don't care what color or flavor, I want socialists with charisma and honest eyes

Abstraction is a trade off. You don't want to build interface layers between everything... It's a pain in the ass, and if there's a 1-1 relationship between parts of a system then you're basically putting in a minimum cost to modify that area in any way. So if you do it, it'll probably be once you've locked down the design pretty well

Game development is pretty different than normal development too. You have a lot of one off and lose ends based on creative decisions... You aren't building up on top of your system, you're building out

And frankly, it leads to a mix of mind blowingly good code and a lot of terrible code

So no, I don't think it's that easy. I think it's also a bullshit argument, and they should release the "proprietary" code when they finish supporting the game, or put in the time to make the interfaces

Who said it was strategic? He went to camp David and totally flipped his position

Someone sat him down, and drilled this plan into him. Then he lost his shit when it didn't go like they promised

What he wants hasn't changed, but it seems like they convinced him a quick bombing campaign and a "mission accomplished" banner could stop this war

I think it's more than just the peace prize

Think of how long making peace in the middle east has been this near impossible goal. It's even a trope in media to display super intelligence

He wanted his wall, not because he gave a shit, but he wanted a landmark. He wants the model Nobel peace prize, but he really wants to be remembered as this mythical deal maker, the peace president

And honestly? Aside from Gaza, for a little while it seemed like he was about to do it, through the power of open bribery and having a melty soup brain

If great white sharks count I think orcas would too

But yeah... Those are cool and all, but it's like asking me what my favorite kind of flower is. I see how they look cool, I see how others might get excited for them, but I'm just not that interested in them

But orcas have many different languages and cultures. They swim across entire oceans. Some of them started sinking yahts (for what I'm convinced is based on understanding which humans are destroying the world), but they never harm humans (outside of the ones driven insane by confinement)

They might actually be smarter than us, their brains are the most wrinkly in the world. They could have oral traditions going back as far as human history

Yes, he's the real deal. He has the math worked out, he's got a cohesive plan, he's made alliances, he's got a ton of energy behind him, and he just nails every interview - even hostile ones

Yes, it's going to be an uphill battle. There's going to be a ton of institutional resistance... But if he can force policies through anyways, it would so huge for the entire country

I think you're looking at this the correct way - these people are totally impulsive and incompetent, but they're not acting randomly

I think Trump genuinely wants to be peacemaker, he was advancing talks and holding back the MIC (who have wanted was with Iran for decades)

So he goes to camp David, and in a matter of hours "Iran can't have a nuke, they're close, they can't have it"

I don't know what they told him, but I think Trump's plan was to do a big bombing run, declare success, and force Israel to back off before working towards a peace deal

And yes, Trump just tweeted out a cease fire and expected it to work, but the US does have that much power over Israel's ability to wage war... He told Netanyahu to cut it the fuck out, and we'll see

The MIC wants this to go forward, they love supplying arms to Israel, but theoretically Trump could cut off arms shipments to them

But to be clear, this is not about the nuclear program itself one way or the other... It doesn't matter if the sites were destroyed or moved beforehand. Peace talks were ongoing, Iran wants back into the fold

What matters is if a peace deal can be reached, and I think Trump genuinely wants it. The money behind both Israel and the US definitely want war

We'll see who's in control

No, this campaign was everything you could ask for

His core platform - free and faster buses, free childcare, rent freezes, and no one making less than $1M will be paying for any of it

It's simple, it's hard to fear monger against, and it's things the people want. The best they had was "but he's Muslim"
