It seriously ticks me off how news organizations are referring to trumps actions.
It's always cutesy, nice, polite.
Trump doesn't want to "add" Canada, he wants to annex it, invade if necessary. This is a hostile dictator talking about destroying our country and I think we should choose words that describe a little better what the fucker is trying to do
I agree that, generously stated, “reporting neutrality” is completely bogus these days. Everything is so nonchalant.
Neutrality favors the oppressor

For it to be a try it would need to be false.
For you to have objective clarity in this matter, you'd need omniscience. Do you get the oxygen delivered by drone all the way up on that high horse of yours? Is it expensive?
If one believes that one needs to have god like powers to understand something as simple as populism one should better educate themselves before picking a fight with a stranger.
We should but this is a US outlet so... They can't be biting the hand that feeds.

Even annex is too soft
I've used the word "conquer" for this, but even then that makes it feel kind of like a board game.
