I will continue to voice my opposition to this take.
People in the crowd got hit and one died, there's a picture of Crooks' head split open by sniper fire. There is no proof it was a setup beyond how Trump and his campaign leveraged it, which isn't really proof.
Clinging onto this theory feels like the same kind of smarmy double speak Holocaust deniers use. "It didn't happen, but I wish it did."
I wouldn't bet on a fucking Navy SEAL winging a moving target on the ear at 400-500'. Anyone thinking it was staged has two issues: They watched too many action movies and have never shot a rifle.
They definitely didn't stage it by actually shooting him. If it was staged, he used a blood pack and was not hit. That would track with his ear recovering so quickly.
The way the tissue regenerated was miraculous, wasn't it? No ragged gaps, no scar tissue...
It's hard for me to believe that he was hit by a bullet, but the hypothesis that he was hit by glass from the teleprompter seems plausible. Cuts from sharp objects heal a lot more quickly and cleanly.
So then what, an SS sniper shot crowd members dead just to make it convincing?
Trump is a vain motherfucker, he would have used makeup to touch up his wound once he was tired of parading around his bandaged ear.
Fair, and I don't believe it was staged. BUT, somebody dying doesn't mean it wasn't staged. It just means they're willing to sacrifice some lives to secure power.
They gave everyone hope that the shooter just missed, but he was never going to hit, since he shot nothing. That ear scrape was so fake leaving zero scar or scab after just a week.
The people behind Trump who were wounded or killed would like a word. If it was staged, and the wound was fake, it would have been done with blanks.

That would be really dumb. What happens if they hit Trump in the head? There are so many factors like wind. With the large anti Trump movement I'm not really shocked someone decided to take things into their own hands. He definitely leaned into the whole victim thing but to say that the entire thing was staged is a bit extreme.
