Hello, I have an REI Co-Op e1.1 e-bike. I recently found out the hard way that its current tires are too thick (2.4in (6cm) ) for a bus bike rack (those one that go in front of the bus). Is it a good idea to change those tires to a thinner standard size, or is there a reason as to why it's that thick?

I'd say check with your local bike shop: You might need to swap out the rims too depending on what you switch to, but you could definitely change tires.

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.
