Ken Paxton is a textbook definition bonafide out-and-out Nazi. Straight up sending the Gestapo to eliminate enemies of the state. He should be removed and jailed for treason, this slimy fucking sack of rotting corpses.

The Republicans want to take the country back to the pre-Civil Rights era.

What’s next? Sundown towns?

Dude, those still very much exist in Oklahoma

They exist all over the US. You drive through parts of West Virginia, Michigan, upstate New York, or Oregon and you're not as white as mayo you're going to be in trouble

Ohio as well, same with Indiana.

To be fair Indiana has a sun down town for everyone. It's called Gary

The warrant ordered the seizure of all electronic devices at her home, allowed for the opening of documents that were business-, organization- or election-related, and authorized swabbing for DNA.

I'm trying to comprehend how they could possibly justify DNA swabbing someone's house as part of a witch hunt for election fraud. Are they going to try to establish that illegal immigrants were in the home and possibly voted?

Fear. The point is to establish fear. And also a nice government Registry of some "inconvenient" liberals to be dealt with later.

Oh, I understand their objective. But they had to ask a judge to okay the search warrant, and I'm mystified how a request for DNA evidence didn't raise any eyebrows. They run the risk of having the entire warrant invalidated if another judge decides that this one was too broad.

Judges in Texas are elected. They can just be random political stooges with no particular concern for the law.

This state is becoming more unhinged by the day.
