Omg guys they're being armed with cutting edge equipment from (/checks notes) ... The Vietnam War!
Today 8000 Tomorrow 7000 ...6000 ... etc.
Thats unrealistic given that across the entire front in a day orcs loose 1500 - 1600 daily. So for "best Koreans" to loose so many you'd need some epic level of incompetence, even above orcs... Not saying it can't happen but unless they do a parade within the range of himars... It's unlikely that their losses would be that drastic
I also don't think it will be that drastic, but I can totally see the Russians pushing inexperienced North Korean troops in the thick of the fighting.
Even dead weight has unintended benefit in war if at least to find out enemy hard points. It's a tactic that works well for their side unfortunately
Sorry is the absolute number is slightly off. I thought the round number made it clear that it was not supposed to be a precise estimate but a general "this is how irrelevant they are compared to normal loses".
Sorry internet has a habit of not always bringing meaning across well. But yes agree to what you said 👍
No worries
So the North Koreans didn't even send weapons with those troops? Sounds a bit weird, why train the troops with new gear? NK gear should be compatible enough that they can keep them supplied with older Russian ammo, right?
You don't need weapons to die, and that's what they are there for.
Why would they send anything? They sold them the mercenaries, Russia needs to arrange the rest.
The aoldiers will be paid as north Korean soldiers meaning a few dollars per month, the signing bonus and actual monthly salary Russians pay their mercenaries is pocketed by the Kim family.
weaponry provided by Moscow, including AK-12 rifles, RPG-7s, and night vision equipment.
Did they get any bullets though?
For a meat wave? Hell no?
Kim probably kept swinging his dick that if troops in Ukraine were North Korean the war would already be over. Putin probably said "sure, have at it".
Not in Putins best interest to be humiliated by NK. So they are gonna be shit and probably call artillery strike on themselves "by accident".
