See? Same hight.

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 3 points 6 days ago

That's what happens when you drink straight from the orange tap.

[–] jabeez@lemmy.today 2 points 6 days ago

And Elmo is 6'2, something sure seems off, can't believe the compulsive liar would lie about that tho

[–] SSNs4evr@leminal.space 3 points 6 days ago

And look at them both, dwarfed by the 6 foot 9 inch first Lady! She should play basketball!

[–] rtxn@lemmy.world 159 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (2 children)

Those are two different measurements.

He's six feet tall.

And he's three inches.

And he’s three inches.

On a good day if you start measuring from the top of the asshole. Guess that doesn't really narrow it down though.

This is one of the ways you can tell that his recent health report was bullshit.

Per the report, Trump’s height and weight are 75 inches and 224 pounds, respectively. Scans of several body systems—including the eyes, ears, neck, throat, and heart—came back normal.

Ain't no doctor giving a completely clean bill of health with a 28 BMI at his age.

[–] StJohnMcCrae@slrpnk.net 86 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (7 children)

I'm 6'3 225 and I can assure you, I wasnt nearly that fat even when I was pushing 250. If he's actually 6'3 (he isn't) then brody is pushing 270-300 EASY. You can hide a lot of weight on a 6'3 frame, but not that much.

[–] CidVicious@sh.itjust.works 30 points 1 week ago (2 children)

As someone who has also been 6'3" 225 agreed. He is definitely heavier than that.

[–] higgsboson@dubvee.org 9 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

He's heavier than that even if he's 5'10". I am 6'1" and I was 225 pretty recently while a housemate was also 225 at 5'10". You could hardly tell I was overweight. That is not true for 5'10, but still not nearly that chunky. I am in the "healthy weight range" now and people cant even tell I lost over 40 lbs.

That orange fuck is north of 300lbs no matter how much he and his doctor lie about his height.

edit: I might believe as little as maybe 270 or so. He hides in baggy clothes, but he clearly has a lot of gross maggot-white flab under there.

🎼 To be faiiiir , though, Gavin Newsome is a goddamned Silver Fox, but at 58 he is still 20 years younger. Im guessing he's probably only 175 or 180? That was never going to be a favorable comparison for trump.

Pilling on, am 6'4", at my heaviest (about 305) I still never looked that, eh, bloated. I'd have been more ~350lbs looking like that. Now I'm down in the 210's with still a little more to go.

I'd fudge that info too if it meant not getting sent to the gulag

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Considering what it means to be his doctor (and the sights, sounds and smells you'd experience), I think I'd take the gulag.

[–] phdepressed@sh.itjust.works 10 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Have you seen his doctor, worse crazy eyes than Kash.

It was bizarre to see the medical report mention that he won his golf tournaments. No doctor wouldn't add that.

Source: am doctor

[–] lepinkainen@lemmy.world 30 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Also his body temperature is 98.6 exactly and 99% pulse ox 🤣

Might be 6'3 if he was stretched out on one of those Medieval torture racks.

[–] Zentron@lemm.ee 36 points 1 week ago (2 children)

To quote an old post "there must have been a second or two where it felt amazing"

[–] Zikeji@programming.dev 28 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I undergo weekly spinal decompression therapy. While not exactly the same as the medieval torture devices, being strapped in and having my spine pulled from both directions with 200lbs of force is pretty close.

And yes, it feels amazing for a second or two.

[–] crank0271@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago (1 children)

May I ask what condition you're treating with that therapy?

[–] Zikeji@programming.dev 16 points 1 week ago (4 children)

In my spine my L5-S1 and L4-L5 are herniated (as of 2017, haven't checked if any more are). Full on herniated, not bulging. It started when I was 20, and my doctor said surgery should be avoided since it could impact my quality of life significantly at my age (not that my QoL wasn't already severely impacted). Epidurals and physical therapy didn't help.

Back then it wasn't miserable 24/7 but it had it's moments. Eventually I had an "episode" where I was bedridden in immense amounts of pain for a solid week. During that desperation I found the IDD option and started that. It was rough back then at the start. But within weeks the constant pain died down and I recovered mobility as well as my sciatica improved.

Through... Losing a job I discovered the effects wear off after 2ish months and I start being susceptible to the episodes and random function loss again, so now I just go weekly to keep things peachy. It isn't full recovery obviously, I still wind up in pain if I do too much with my back, even stuff as little as bending over slightly to do the dishes (because I'm tall), but it beats being disabled in constant pain... Those few episodes I've had haunt me. Being so helpless I couldn't even.

Yeah, I was gonna say whatever is going on with his spine might be hiding a few inches. You’d be amazed how many inches you can lose to curvature without looking like Quasimodo.

But I doubt he was ever 6’3”. That sounds like a number he picked years ago because someone he hates is 6’2”.

How fucking terrible of a person do you have to be to continuously lie about something so trivial and easily proven.

[–] Frozengyro@lemmy.world 28 points 1 week ago (1 children)

It's more being insecure. He might try to act all tough, but he's really soft or he wouldn't care. And wouldn't get so reactionary/easily triggered.

Also note that Donald is wearing lifts in that picture.

[–] Vespair@lemm.ee 39 points 1 week ago (3 children)

We have to stop reporting on Trump lies like they're shocking.

Yeah dude, the lying liar lied.

Literally every time this dude opens his mouth he is either lying or spewing hate. Sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, so will Trump lie.

[–] MrVilliam@lemm.ee 26 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I disagree. When we stop pointing out the lies that the lying liar tells, we are complicit in him getting away with the lies. A shitload of people aren't really paying much attention. Those people might believe his lies if they're not seeing anybody pointing out that what he's saying is a lie.

Honestly, I'd rather see it pointed out even more what a fucking liar he is. I want the media to stop saying "falsely states" and other bullshit soft language, and then let it go to fucking trial and beat him if he tries to sue for slander/libel. It's a fucking disgrace that they're not only choosing to not do this, but they're settling when he claims that they're factual reporting on him is defamation or election interference. But honestly, at this point, I won't be satisfied until he's in a stockade and getting pelted by overpriced eggs.

Eggs.

Eggs.

Eggs.

[–] Vespair@lemm.ee 10 points 1 week ago (2 children)

I never said stop reporting, I said stop acting surprised. I don't want them to stop talking about it, I just want them to be honest about it and say "Trump lied about this today" instead of "the Trump white house thinks...."

I just want them to call a spade a spade instead of acting like it's not

doctors' always measure my weight, but just take my word for height

[–] Rocketpoweredgorilla@lemmy.ca 19 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

Same. I can't recall any of my doctors ever measuring my height. The police and RCMP however.. both kept pretty good records of my teenage growth years.

[–] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 12 points 1 week ago (1 children)

My doctor's office measured my height along with my weight last year. First time I remember since I've been an adult. I'm an old white woman and apparently I've lost an inch.

[–] surewhynotlem@lemmy.world 17 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Maybe it was just cold in the office. Happens to the best of us.

Im not saying Trump is 6'3*, he's clearly not. I myself have shrunk over an inch and I'm younger than him by a generation. But people don't always measure the same, or try to. I have a friend who is 6'1" who swears he's 5'11". He never stands up straight. At my tallest I was 5'11 3/4" and you better believe I was giving my measurements all I could hoping I'd get to 6'. My guess is Trump once was 6'3", has shrunk to just a little over 6', and Newsom is probably closer to 6'4". But without putting a measuring tape to them, what the hell do any of us know?

Trump reminds me of Charlie Sheen. Trump is always"winning", hangs out with pornstars, and his ego is so inflated that Freud would quit doing cocaine. Trump needs to be treated like Reagan was. Like, when the secret service would place leaves in the pool. But, in this case, give him a room with a camera and tell him that he matters. But it broadcasts to nobody.

[–] notarobot@lemm.ee 10 points 1 week ago

You are missing the point. AFAIK, a foot and an inch are supposed to be based off of the kings measurements. He might be 6 of his own feet (not sure how the plural works here) because he sees himself as the king
