As long as AfD don’t come to power, Poland should be safe. If they do, they, Russia and Hungary will inevitably be discussing how to repartition their neighbour at some point.

Well, they are sort of connected. One is the direct result of Russia's cyber war of far right propaganda, the other a result of Russia's war against Ukraine.

As someone living on the German Polish border, I volunteer my city to be joined in Germany. At least they'll fix our roads.

Nah, we don't do that. We wait until it's too late. Fixing all the broken infrastructure in Germany is estimated to be as expensive as rebuilding Ukraine.

Perhaps the rest of the world would actually do their job to increase their militaries to reasonable levels, instead of doing this game over and over again:

America: Does a military thing

Europe: Hey, that's immoral and wrong!
