It's always bronies, isn't it...

[-] li10@feddit.uk 69 points 1 year ago

Truly the invasive species of the internet

[-] DefyTheLegends@lemmy.world 43 points 1 year ago

I thought they were extinct by now, because I haven't heard or seen that fad in, what feels like, years.

[-] ultimate_question@lemmy.world 37 points 1 year ago

I feel like this reveals an uncomfortable truth about the lemmy user base lol

[-] InfiniWheel@lemmy.one 23 points 1 year ago

Bronies are like furries in a way, if you look at the big picture for a second tou realize they run the (digital) world

We need someone to stop this again

[-] hoodatninja@kbin.social 63 points 1 year ago

Who cares? Let them have fun.

[-] Anamana@feddit.de 19 points 1 year ago

It's part of the fun, to get rid of the bronies on the canvas.

‘Mom, can we have an r/place?’

‘No, we’ve got an r/place at home.’

[-] PrivateNoob@sopuli.xyz 32 points 1 year ago

LETSGOOOO. Where was this announced?

[-] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 23 points 1 year ago

!canvas@toast.ooo

Completely missed it too

[-] yamapikariya@lemmyfi.com 14 points 1 year ago

It's cause they gotta announce harder

[-] grte@lemmy.ca 10 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

The decentralized nature of Lemmy means making an announcement to the greater network isn't so easy. Perhaps the next time something like this is tried it might be worth getting instance admins of the larger instances (and smaller, but larger will have more reach obviously) to make featured posts about it beforehand to try and get the word out sooner.

I’m not on kbin so I can’t check it, but have you tried just clicking on lemmy and putting in kbin.social as your instance?

[-] MonochromeObserver@kbin.social 9 points 1 year ago

@WolfhunterGer

@SubArcticTundra @callyral Nope. It has to be lemmy instance. It gives me an error:

Instance is not a Lemmy instance, you may not be able to receive the code (LemmyNet/lemmy#2657)

when/where is the void starting, boys?

[-] eatham@aussie.zone 5 points 1 year ago

Yeah! Hope people help with the aus flag

[-] R4sjd1@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 year ago

I did not manage to log in on mobile. Inlog screen is cutoff halfway and I somehow don’t receive a code. Probably my settings but there are some challenges for us not-so-tech-savvy folks. But I will try again!
