[–] Dragonborn3810@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Doesnt load for me, anyone have another link?

[–] kazerniel@lemmy.world 8 points 3 weeks ago

For me it immediately starts downloading the file instead of opening in the browser as PDF. Maybe it's already in your download folder?

The relevant images are:

Probably not, the images are very garbled because they are meant to be viewed in a polished cylinder. See what I found: https://repozytorium.biblos.pk.edu.pl/redo/resources/27069/file/suwFiles/ZdziarskiA_RzutAnamorficzno.pdf#page=27

This is probably not it, it's too old (1997) and by a male student. Anyway, here are the keywords for your research:
anamorfoza w malarstwie praca doktorska filetype:pdf

Edit: The "Lover's Embrace" could be a misremembering of Para kochanków ("Pair of Lovers") by Jan Ziarnko (1608), and this article, which might be it (not a thesis but by a female Polish scholar in 2014), includes a decoded version: https://bibliotekanauki.pl/articles/706976.pdf#page=3 (NSFW)

And should be tube shaped.

Bro I am cooked, it took me a few read throughs before I realized she wasn't spending the math departments budget on anthropomorphic art analysis.

I thought it had to do with Animorphs.

Anamorphography.

That's not surprising. A benchmark photo for image compression is from Playboy.
