Right, but he could have done the funniest thing ever and just left those kids there.
Or better, keep the comic exactly the same, but swap the 2 kids with refugees when he lands back

I feel a movie where superman actually tries to fix things might be boring.
here is superman moving a shit ton of aid to where it's needed.
and if he had balls, he would me snatching world leaders and dropping them in the hague, go after military bases.
Cause using superman for his actual ideal use would be pretty boring for a comic book.
That might be seen as alien ingerence though. He can act freely in the city he has been a citizen more than the countries on the other side of the globe. Doesn't mean he can't help when people ask him.
Yeah, but if he can drag two leaders that are purposefully driving their people to war into the sky and toss them around a bit until they agree to sit down and talk until they come to an agreement, he kind of has the responsibility to do it.
And the rest of us get to see idiots get juggled.
