South Park already showed Saddam Hussein’s penis in all its glory.

Think about it:

  • Saddam? Exposed.
  • Trump? Censored.

This is TOTAL DISCRIMINATION

The point is FAIRNESS. If one guy’s junk gets airtime, then THE DONALD’S deserves a prime-time show!

This isn’t just TV—it’s about AMERICAN VALUES.

[–] the_crotch@sh.itjust.works 3 points 6 days ago (1 children)

That was a movie, though. There are different standards on cable.

[–] Bwaz@lemmy.world 3 points 5 days ago (2 children)

There are standards on cable?

[–] the_crotch@sh.itjust.works 1 points 5 days ago

They're largely self imposed. But yeah. For instance breaking bad a limit of 3 "fuck"smper season and sometimes they're still bleeped depending on what time of day you're watching it

[–] ArsonButCute@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 5 days ago

Not if your studio can afford the fees

[–] Hotzilla@sopuli.xyz 38 points 6 days ago (1 children)

You can watch the end of the episode on HeTrumpedUs.com, I don't think the article gives it enough credit for the thing they pulled.

I would have never guessed they get this aired, they are really not giving any fucks.

[–] Barberserk@lemmy.world 1 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I will admit they give no fucks when they criticise Israel's genocide. Until then, they are playing it safe. Trump doesn't care what the left says about him, this won't reach enough of his voting base to matter. They control their narrative.

[–] Auntievenim@lemmy.world 7 points 6 days ago

I forsee a "school shootings" style acknowledgement where throughout the season they will just have a constant stream of children being bombed in the background while the episodes are going and finally do an episode where someone is actually acknowledging the genocide and thinks they're overreacting about it because nobody else cares about the children being exploded in town

It’s gonna be a long list on what they sue them for, snicker. It’s baaaaad.

[–] rockettaco37@lemmy.world 35 points 6 days ago

Good. Free speech has no meaning unless actually put into practice.

[–] bigbabybilly@lemmy.world 37 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Good news: they didn’t show a penis. It’s animation. None of it is real.

[–] Hotzilla@sopuli.xyz 5 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (1 children)

Did you watch it, it really wasn't animated. They also showed the cartoon one multiple times.

You can watch the end of the episode on HeTrumpedUs.com (linked in the episode also)

[–] aceshigh@lemmy.world 3 points 6 days ago (1 children)

The ai penis wasn’t blurred out…

[–] MisterD@lemmy.ca 5 points 6 days ago

And it talks!

[–] rbesfe@lemmy.ca 22 points 6 days ago

Relax, guy!

[–] TargaryenTKE@lemmy.world 16 points 6 days ago (5 children)

What even ARE the products in these ads??? (Clicking just sends me to Temu)

[–] Wispy2891@lemmy.world 24 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Why are you using a Lemmy client with ads?

Take this, it's open source and platform agnostic https://getvoyager.app/

[–] REDACTED@infosec.pub 7 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Does lemmy even have ads or are they served by the whoever developed the app?

[–] Opisek@lemmy.world 14 points 6 days ago
[–] ayyy@sh.itjust.works 9 points 6 days ago

What the fuck is an ad doing in open source software?

[–] Auntievenim@lemmy.world 7 points 6 days ago

Yall mfs got ads on your lemmy?

[–] eRac 11 points 6 days ago (3 children)

Why are you getting adds on Lemmy?!

1/3 appears to be an eyeliner stencil. 4 and 6 are clothing. 5 is glass orbs full of low-freezing-point liquid so they stay liquid in a freezer but have high thermal mass. They are used in some woowoo skincare routines to cool skin.

2 is very weird. It's an index finger that appears to be covered in glitter and tiny orbs.

[–] Localhorst86@feddit.org 12 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

Why are you getting ads on Lemmy

Because they are using a client that injects ads into its feed.

I believe Boost does that

[–] Wispy2891@lemmy.world 8 points 6 days ago

I have the opinion that the asshole who chose the images, intentionally chose 6 even if it's "unrelated" because it has a X and at a first glance people might click it thinking it's a button to close the ad

And they cropped the finger to make it look an erect penis, to get clicks

[–] ElectricTrombone@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (1 children)

2 looks like a finger with a "fresh" tattoo to me. That's what they look like immediately after they are done. Kind of swollen, and they are usually covered something. Probably to make sure it heals properly. I'm not an expert though.

[–] eRac 3 points 6 days ago

It did to me too until I zoomed in.

My wife thinks it is beads using a finger for scale. The glitter effect on the finger is likely fresh adhesive sticking them there.

[–] ArsonButCute@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 5 days ago

Left to right:

  1. Eyeliner/False lash glue stencil
  2. Rhinestones for eyelash decoration
  3. Same as #1
  4. Fake high-quality (as in low quality designed to look high quality) sweater/pant combo
  5. I think these are some kind of facial serum, or health/mana potion minis. Either way do not consume, and probs don't spread it on your skin
  6. A hoodie
[–] SCmSTR@lemmy.blahaj.zone 15 points 6 days ago

It's so teeny tiny though, it should be fine.

[–] aceshigh@lemmy.world 11 points 6 days ago (1 children)

They really should have also given him small hands.

[–] hypeerror@sh.itjust.works 2 points 5 days ago

and he hasn't been that slim since high school.

[–] RamSwamson@lemmy.sdf.org 11 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Unfortunately they didn't host the video themselves so YouTube age restricted it, not viewable for me.

[–] Darkassassin07@lemmy.ca 13 points 6 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Screw it, I've got time.
