This, among other things, is what makes me wish nobody cared about branding. The trademark should be meaningless. It's just another store with no real relation to the original other than the name.

Zellers in name only. Not sure why they'd even want to bring it back, Zellers was a crappy place to shop before they closed.

Probably nostalgia. I remember them being largely empty with inflated prices on the stuff they still sold, and the customers were few and far between. Made for a pretty depressing place to be.

It seems really weird that Canafian Tire bought the Zeller's motto, but not the name or branding.

Is that Canadian tires motto? Certainly doesn't show in their products, I saw a pair of retaining ring pliers in the tool aisle $70. like wtaf. Its pliers with two nibs
