The DriveTest was probably wearing headphones and a dark hoodie.
Sometimes we need an anti-exemplar to look at what not to do at a DriveTest. This woman did us a service, quite frankly.
McCabe said no charges will be laid. The building was assessed and found to be repairable.
"It just unfortunately was driver error," he said.
The legal system is so contradictory.
"Driver error" isn't a free pass.
If the same driver error ended up killing someone, would charges be laid or not?
If yes, then why not lay charges here?
And if no, then you can't keep calling it an "error", since the law doesn't even consider it a problem!
Road tests should not be done on public roads, they should be done in full motion simulators so we can throw every condition at the driver and ensure we keep the bad ones off the road
