Command and conquer red alert 3/ wild thornberries

One is visual the other is his voice.

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 3 points 4 days ago

I definitely know his face from Ferngully.

[–] Andonyx@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago

I know him from many things but he'll always be...

[–] kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 6 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Ferngully or Home alone 2 probably. Don't know which came first for me.

What does it mean if I know this guy but I have no idea where from?

That he's been in a bunch of things of value, often as a smaller role.

Obviously there are no wrong answers here. But the only reason to see Congo was that you heard Tim Curry was in it.

[–] fartographer@lemmy.world 9 points 5 days ago (3 children)

Uhhhh... Bruce Campbell, tyvm

[–] themeatbridge@lemmy.world 9 points 5 days ago (5 children)

You can't possibly go see everything Bruce Campbell makes. He's in everything. He's in your own house right now, making toast and smarmy remarks about the decor in your kitchen.

If only! 😍

[–] bigbabybilly@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

Isn’t that guy just a sweet transvestite?

[–] KingOogaBooga@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

gasp.....ROCKY!!!!

[–] AlexLost@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago

I know him from lots of different places.

Everything. But... Clue, Legend, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Terry Pratchett's The Colour of Magic. Wish I could have seen him on stage (always loved Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, would have been great to see it with him in it).

Fabulous man, wonderful career.

My introduction to Tim Curry was as Rooster in Annie (1982).

AH-LIE-ZHA!

Yeah, I was confusing him with another actor - but funnily enough, he was the voice of Captain Hook in the animated show Peter Pan & the Pirates.
