This reminds me of my grandpa. He used to drive a semi truck and kids would always do the fist pump wanting him to blow his air horn. He also had a normal wimpy Volvo car horn on the steering wheel.

He would get kids excited like he noticed what they were doing and then honk the wimpy horn. He said they always laughed so much. Then he would toot the big horn.

not for everyone though. I'm in my 30s and still don't find babies cute. I somehow feel annoyed and uncomfortable when they stare at me.

I know you're right, but I feel the same way about a baby sea turtle waving to me, too. Same goes for jumping spiders. I don't know where the line is, though.

Other than mine, I've never noticed a toddler waving to me from the back of a car, but at least once I've been eating junk food while driving and noticed an adjacent dog tracking me very closely.
