This is dumb. The point is to hurt them. All's fair in love and war folks.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem responded directly to a parody of her in an episode of South Park that targeted the ICE raids, as well as her personally, in August. “It’s so lazy to just constantly make fun of women for how they look,” Noem said of the episode on the Glenn Beck Program podcast, per The Guardian. “If they wanted to criticize my job, go ahead and do that. But clearly they can’t – they just pick something petty like that.”
But she's cool with all the jokes about her shooting dogs?
I always find it particularly weaselly when hard-right politicians try to invoke progressive values to deflect criticism back on their critics. As if she and her cadre aren’t obsessed with looks.
Noem has more plastic in her than the Great Pacific Garbage Patch and it's severely affecting her ability to function as a real human being.
To be fair, I actually agree with her on this. Making fun of someone for how they look is lazy. Especially when there are so many other things that are so easy to pick apart. A general rule of thumb I have is to never make fun of someone about something they are, but something they do is totally fair game.
Because she is evil, facts don't matter to her. There is no debate. No one is being convinced of anything. Belittling fascists is a known nonviolent tactic that works because they are nihilistic narcissists. I'd never say demeaning things about strangers, but public figure Nazis are fair game for anything that bruises their ego.
You're delusional if you think you are debating her. No, the intent would be to convince enough people that her beliefs and actions are vile.
How is her plastic mold of a face not "something they do?" She wasn't born like that. Its something she chose and for her to start pretending like she has some moral high ground while disappearing people based on the color of skin they were born with makes her an even slimier subhuman person.
I think that's the line.
Making fun of someone for appearance they naturally have: off limits.
Making fun of someone's appearance choices: all in.

While you are technically correct, I think it is fair to draw a line at Mar-a-Lago face. Ridiculing white supremacist bimbos who intentionally choose that look... I am kind of okay with that. Because the look itself is a symbol of hate.
I think it's one thing to make fun of the Joseph Merrick, who has very little control over how he looks versus making fun of Kristi Noem who paid people to mutilate her for Trumps approval.
Sure, but again why do that when there are so many other valid reasons to make fun of her? You belittle your own position when you do that.
Disagree. She chose to look like that so it's fair game, the same way a bad haircut or weird clothes is fair game.

Fascists are inherently vain, as annoying as it may be they HATE when folks make fun of them for their appearance. They revel in being called monsters but the second you call them ugly you hurt their feelings, it's rather pathetic.
It's not the fascists that you can convince to come to your side though. They're too far gone to be reasoned with at this point.
Yeah your point. I'm not trying to get them on my side, I'm trying to piss them off and get under their skin. I want them to go into a depressive spiral put a gun in their mouth and pull the fucken trigger. I want every waking moment to be consumed by folks calling them melty face or leaky neck or any number of things. Because if I can't have their blood apon my hands through physical force then I wish to do it through psychological force, civility is dead and I will piss on it's corpse.
Okay, if that's the intent, then go for it. I guess our disagreement comes from a different intended audience.
Yeah one of the things ya need to remember is not all of us really care about optics, frankly speaking while I was speaking slightly in a hyperbolic way with my little rant showing that I have read way too much epic poetry my intent is clear. I am not intending to gain support but moreso drive the fascists to a point of weakness, I will mock them, their leaders, and their very humanity on vague off chance that they'll go dark, have a mental break, or blow their brains out.
I just wish modern cameras didn't exist or I would attempt to drive at least one fascist to a psychotic break via sleep deprivation, though I'd settle for them smashing into a wall while attempting to drive to McDonald's.
It almost reaches the bar of "concern trolling" at this point.

“As this woman fans the flames of hatred, our brave law enforcement will continue enforcing the rule of law and protecting Americans,” McLaughlin continued.
Yes, people saying "Fuck ICE" are fanning the flames. It sure isn't all the borderline legal and straight up illegal things being done by the regime. Couldn't be.
The rule of law is so important that it doesn't apply to the highest position of power in this country.

Yeah for all the demands to hurt pedophiles all I see is them being weaponized as the beachhead of "well some people don't deserve the rights of the accused/convicted" and as mudslinging.
When the right wing says they're going after pedophiles I just assume that means they're using extreme violence against whoever they want because they've long ago stopped actually caring if someone is a pedo before accusing them of it. Which is very bad for children who are victims of child sex abuse. When pedophile is a generic insult as it's becoming this either continues devolving into mass violence or people stop taking thst word seriously
