That character gave my young self so many feelings. And a smart engineer to boot.

[–] Grass@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

The only feels on my end is being reminded of the somewhat recent chip and dale movie and how goddamn excellent it is. It's probably the only cartoon and live action composite that doesn't suck. It has all the same things I hate about that type of movie but makes it work.

What about Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

While she is cute, it's a little off-putting when you realize she's a hairless mouse (aside from what's on her head).

Listen people hate on hairless rats (not mice but the point still stands) but they are actually the best. I will not stand for this defamation.

look at this baby

(p.s. I still have no idea how to make images show up in comment so if someone could show me that would be hekkin sick)

I think they're cute, too, but anthropomorphize them and they start looking more like abominations without the fur.

You missed Gadget.

Also, who is the bottom-left character?

[–] Stamets@lemmy.world 42 points 2 years ago (1 children)

A character from Tom and Jerry named, I shit thee not, Toodles Galore.

[–] dangblingus@lemmy.dbzer0.com 33 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Because Pussy Galore had already been taken clearly.

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world 10 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Interestingly, Toodles first appeared in 1946, 13 years before Pussy was introduced in the novel.

[–] Cruxifux@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

That’s…. Odd.

[–] RIP_Cheems@lemmy.world 9 points 2 years ago

What about when Bugs Bunny dressed up as a girl bunny?

I'd like to throw in one Callie Briggs. She was definitely one of those influences on me. Couldn't find a good.image from the shows but I found a good image from here.

I'd upload the image, but I can never get it to work in the comments.

That's good to know. The image reply thing has never seemed to work for me on Jerboa. I'll definitely have to copy that so I can use it.

Anyone else pop into the mayor's voice at work too fuck with people?

[–] clay_pidgin@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 years ago

I haven't, but I might now!

[–] mriormro@lemmy.world 9 points 2 years ago (2 children)

I grew up with all of these characters and don't hold any sexual attraction to any animals, anthropomorphized or otherwise.

[–] Just_Not_Funny@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

You keep telling yourself that

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world 8 points 2 years ago

I wouldn't think Donkey and Nala count since they're not bipedal.

Does Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet count?

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

She's good enough for WikiFur, so yes.

WHERE THE FUCK IS JESSICA RABBIT?

[–] Neato@kbin.social 31 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Furry art is anthropomorphic animals. Jessica Rabbit is a human woman. Her last name is Rabbit because she married Roger Rabbit, an anthropomorphic rabbit.

She's just drawn that way.

[–] n3m37h@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

Hello nurse!

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

A cartoon human.
