I don't really know why but I can't get textures to look good. Any tips would be appreciated.

Whatever you do, do not put the demon core in a blender. A bad time will be had by all.

The outside of the demon core is a shiny metal sphere, wheras yours looks dull, like stone. Its no wonder the textures look off when the material isnt right. I see why you did this, though, reflective metal materials always look bad in an empty scene. get yourself an hdri or something to create interesting reflections, then turn up metalness and turn down roughness.
