What is the thing on the bottom right? It looks like the Westinghouse Atom Smasher, but the protruding bulbs don't fit. Also they stopped using the Atom Smasher in the 1950s.

Looks Kind oft linke those old mercury arc rectifiers. Yeah pretty sure, the blue glow is from the arc.
