I exclusively microwave everything in plastic, because I just want it all to end.

For the love of god stop putting food in contact with plastic, stop using plastic in food processing machinery, stop pork and other garbage feeding, stop replacing copper pipes with plastic tubes in homes, stop using plasic to make fabrics, stop using plastic to make tires, stop...
But the metal always lights up the whole kitchen.

I stopped doing this a long, long time ago. It's one of the reasons that microwave dinners are a no-go for me, and why my leftover food storage is mostly glass.
I honestly thought everyone else could smell and taste the hot plastic, and just knew this was a bad idea?
