I was enlisted.

I'd say it's about 50/50 as to whether one of the women I served with could kick my ass, regardless of size.

The women who are joining the military aren't "prissy princess I need to be pampered all the time" stereotypes these chucklefucks think they are.

And it really is a fight to prove they can do the bare minimum, even if they're seen excelling 99% of the time. The 1% mistake will be fixated on and used as proof they can't take it. All while ignoring the massive fuck ups from the males.

100% of them could kick one of the politicians asses in a heartbeat. especially this weeks picks.

I have no doubt that the women in the military are in far better shape to fight a war than any of their critics.

I'll have you know 65% does not go out of my tail pipe.

It goes out a hole in the exhaust manifold that I'm too poor to patch up.

provided you trust your server.

You shouldn't.

especially if you run it yourself. If you don't have a loaded sawed off sitting near your server rack in case the machine spirit within grows too strong, you aren't servering correctly.

follow their instructions

I'm white.

I have been stopped, at gunpoint, by cops who were both screaming different things ranging from "get off the bike" to "get on the ground", "turn around", "face us and walk forward with your hands out", and "drop your bag" which for the record was strapped to my back with a waist belt on.

Luckily another car rolled up seconds later and when one of the cops inside ran over to them they exchanged a few sentences and then the ones that were pointing guns at me seconds before, one says "you're good to go." and the first two leave like nothing happened. The ones that came up a minute behind came over and told me someone was purse-snatched at a specific shoe store across town and fled on a green bicycle 10 minutes beforehand. I was about 6 miles away, and riding a red bike

I fully believe that if the first cops had stopped someone who wasn't white, or if I had tried reaching for my waist buckle on my bag, they would have opened fire.

LMAO "just follow their orders" what a fucking joke.

The first time I interacted with water and it did something in response instead of being static blew my mind.

Seeing my own reflection in a game hurt my brain.

That microscope looks a lot like a pair of binoculars glued to a small sewing machine...

The fact that even when trying to be dystopian as fuck, depressingly bad, showcasing the worst decisions that the more aggressive (and let's be honest, savage by comparison) people of the past, they give humanity WAY too much credit.

Not a chance in hell anyone would create special areas for homeless people unless there were some ulterior motive. Because even though the cost of housing and programs to educate, therapy to help with any issues stemming from homelessness or mental disorders (including many that you will likely get just from being homeless that never showed up before) and substance abuse problems (that again, likely were not present pre-homelessness) is WAY lower than what we pay to "deal with it" the way we do, everyone just kind of seems okay with how the homeless get treated.

And when you are watching 27 different angles of a bunch of people filming cops going around beating homeless people and dragging out of tents by their hair in order to burn them down with all the possessions inside, and nobody fucking lifts a finger to help those being opressed, it really winks in that maybe we don't deserve to make it past the bell riots.

Because even the shitty oppressive government of a fictional universe where most governments are completely changed, gone or barely dangling by a thread is a hell of a lot better than the shit we're stuck with.

I fucking love all the kitbash ships and shuffled part ships.

Especially the ugly kitbashes.

I always thought the nebula class was neat. The mission pod is cool. Being able to swap out for combat or sensors or whatever else you need by heading to a space dock, pressing a few buttons and waiting for the worker bees to swap them out in half an hour or less (or your dilithium back)
