Canned goods and ammunition are still part of GDP. Maybe they are just saying the economy will shift from a consumer economy to a prepper economy.

The American biologist E.O.Wilson posited a variation of the 80/20 rule that is a hallmark of environmental science.

"Conserving 50% of the land will preserve 80% of the species."

30 is good, but it's not enough. Not nearly enough.

Everyday will stop being a sequence of disasters when we build communities to work with nature, rather than dominate it.

We're slow learners.

India will pursue its own self interest as it always has. It has no interest in interdependency on the US and the irony of the US stabbing everyone in the face, while then begging for help shows how irrational they are. They are at best an unreliable trade partner.

No one can partner with stupidity and chaos.

They will accept direct foreign investment and will gladly climb the manufacturing capabilities ladder as the Chinese have done so successfully. But they will trust the US as much as the trust China. I.e. not at all.

Jesus, who came back from the dead? Like a zombie? Zombie Jesus is lord. I worship a zombie cult? I need to rethink my life.

He has no mind. He has no scruples. He has no honour or integrity. He is bound by no checks and balances, no competent court or rule of law.

There are no negotiations to be had. No deal will be honored. No system to appeal to. You could not be more correct. Don't bother answering the phone. Don't bother signing anything. Don't bother leadership meetings. Send the b team on a salvage operation but conceed nothing.

Find better trade partners.
