If you (or anyone else) will never change your vote about it, why would they adjust their position?

You've given them no downside to continuing to support genocide other than the weight of thousands of innocent dead on their consciences. It should be fairly obvious how much that affects them.

Here's why this story is fake:

They could lose their liquor license for not verifying that the person under the cat head was the person on the ID.

Because game devs have to pay their rent.

If they go off to form their own studio, they probably have to take out a business loan to pay themselves for the time being. Interest rates are high right now, and rent and food are both expensive. It's a huge gamble to make a game and put it out on the assumption you'll be able to pay back 6%+ interest on whatever you took out. Games are not a reliable money maker. Especially from new studios.

Even if you get some sort of deal with a publisher to fund your first endeavor, there will still be strings attached to that, and publishers are pretty tight with the purse strings right now.

Which means really the only viable option, assuming you're not already independently wealthy, is that you have to work another job to work on the game in the meantime, which means it will take even longer to come out.

The largest grant is going to Portland for a freeway widening that has occasionally included a cap in the renders.

Austin's grant is going to a similar project.

The freeway widenings apparently must continue, but now they'll just come with caps in progressive cities.

He will sink it anyway. Not like Tories care about evidence-based policy anyway.

"Tankie" is when you don't vote for a candidate who supports genocide.

The state of the online "tankie" discourse has never been worse.

You know the US does have groups of people cordoned off in New Mexico? We have similar situations all over the US. They're called Indian Reservations and we did regularly massacre the people that lived there (Wounded Knee being the most famous example).

But at least by 1924 we gave Native Americans citizenship and therefore the right of free movement. It only took about 150 years but they at least got basic rights eventually, even if the discrimination and violence continues.

Israel can't even meet the standards of decency that America, a continuously not-decent country figured out for itself before Israel even existed.

The coldest temperature ever recorded in the UK is -27. That's right around the inflection point for where heat pumps become less efficient than electric heaters. Until the gulf stream fails, the UK is pretty safe to use heat pumps everywhere.
