[–] Annoyed_Crabby@monyet.cc 66 points 10 months ago (3 children)

Ahh yes, Aarizon, Owda, and State, my favorite places.

[–] alcoholicorn@lemmy.ml 27 points 10 months ago (2 children)

If there can be Kansas and Arkansas, why can't there be Arizona and Aarizona?

It's not the same without l, ll, and ll

[–] Rai@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 10 months ago

Not a big fan of “NI…”

[–] TheFriar@lemm.ee 8 points 10 months ago

Well I voted the Wicconana party. That’s like putting the women from The Craft in office, right?

[–] 0ops@lemm.ee 42 points 10 months ago (2 children)
[–] troybot@midwest.social 25 points 10 months ago

Every day, we get closer to Handmaid's Tale.

[–] nichtburningturtle@feddit.org 34 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I pray for our friends in λ.

[–] MonkeMischief@lemmy.today 15 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Black Mesa? Ha ha. Fat chance.

[–] nichtburningturtle@feddit.org 9 points 10 months ago

Have some faith in the science team.

[–] Kwakigra@beehaw.org 29 points 10 months ago (1 children)

λ definitely has my vote.

Gordon Freeman 2028?

[–] SwampYankee@mander.xyz 27 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Maine & Louisana voting for some eldritch terror, apparently.

[–] dingus@lemmy.world 8 points 10 months ago

Maybe they are onto something here...

[–] zephorah@lemm.ee 17 points 10 months ago

According to polling the last couple weeks, this is probably accurate.

[–] manucode@infosec.pub 17 points 10 months ago (3 children)

Öl has won California, N/A has won Arizona, L_ has won Idaho, something in Arabic has won Maine and lowercase lambda has won Louisiana.

[–] Vittelius@feddit.org 9 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Öl is German for oil and it is winning most elections as far as I know

[–] manucode@infosec.pub 5 points 10 months ago

It's also Swedish for beer

[–] jaybone@lemmy.world 8 points 10 months ago

Louisilambda

[–] rimmedalpha@lemmynsfw.com 7 points 10 months ago

It kind of looks like the old American Airlines logo, so Maine is now one big airport.

[–] sudo42@lemmy.world 15 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Sadly, a lot of Americans couldn’t name the states correctly either.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 8 points 10 months ago (1 children)

We could in 8th grade, but we haven't used that knowledge very much since then.

[–] MonkeMischief@lemmy.today 4 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

Probably because in many cases we can't afford to freakin' move and resettle or sometimes even travel in our own country, so it becomes trivia knowledge instead of practical knowledge lol.

[–] affiliate@lemmy.world 14 points 10 months ago

i would like to know why the AI is predicting that there will be future states named Democraic, Wicconana, Nich Caroina, and Ohida.

[–] GrammarPolice@lemmy.world 13 points 10 months ago

Brain breaking map

[–] VaalaVasaVarde@sopuli.xyz 10 points 10 months ago

I want to visit the state NWA.

[–] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 8 points 10 months ago

If it doesn’t go well, I’m just going to move to one of the smaller US mainlands.

[–] PyroNeurosis@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 10 months ago

Wacky times when the Democratic States are red, and Republican Leanda is blue.

[–] Jumi@lemmy.world 6 points 10 months ago

That's almost as good as my knowledge of your states

[–] merc@sh.itjust.works 6 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I like that only Iowa and Arizona are the only states with full names labelled without weirdness, and they're completely wrong. If it were a human completing this map, I'd say those were the two states they were confident about, and they're obviously wrong.

[–] LovableSidekick@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

Texas Iowa or New Mexico Iowa?

[–] BluJay320@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 10 months ago

Idaho became 1/4 of Loss

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 4 points 10 months ago

Republicanlandia.

[–] fsxylo@sh.itjust.works 2 points 10 months ago

Looks like Disney wins New York.
