Sounds like the start of an amazing DnD campaign

[-] SkaveRat@discuss.tchncs.de 19 points 2 days ago

Time to add rat-taurs. I let you decide about the order of the halves

[-] pencil_nerd@mander.xyz 10 points 2 days ago

What about horse-taurs? A horse on the front of a horse.

[-] thefartographer@lemm.ee 7 points 2 days ago

Two horse hinds blindly bucking in all directions

[-] edgemaster72@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Left side rat, right side human (from the perspective of the rat-taur)

[-] medusa@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 day ago

I would totally be okay with all of these.

Crowracoon is my spirit animal - smart and crafty af, but will dig through garbage. 🥰

[-] socsa@piefed.social 25 points 2 days ago

A raccoon/crow hybrid fighting God over half a Bagel is pretty much the plot of Shin Megami Tensei

[-] nesc@lemmy.cafe 5 points 2 days ago

Yeah only thing missing is apocalypse and christianity references.

[-] 21Cabbage@lemmynsfw.com 17 points 2 days ago

I get the feeling a raccoon/crow would be a relatively easy creature to befriend, and also a awesome friend. Once again reminded of the ski lift operator I worked with once that could get a crow to land on his shoulder.

[-] RegalPotoo@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

You could befriend one by feeding it a doughnut every day for a week, but if you miss a day 3 generations of your descendants will be haunted by crows, racoons, and crowcoons

[-] then_three_more@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago

Fox seagull not so much. The fox part might be a little friendly, but the seagull would dive bomb you and try to eat your eyes.

The worst kind of griffin is Meg, actually.

[-] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 11 points 2 days ago

“Rodents of unusual size? Quite frankly, I don’t think they exist.”

”CAW!!”

gets carried away and is never seen again

[-] Draegur@lemm.ee 13 points 2 days ago

Drive them from my garbage bin? Heavens no! I'm BEFRIENDING that RacCrow with da GUD gorbage! I'll give them fresh fruit, not quite expired groceries from my pantry, and ✨ S H I N Y T H I N G S ✨

I feel like it would be one of those high AC/low damage roll fights

[-] Jarix@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

Vulture-honey badger griffin?

[-] RBWells@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Wait, that's one half to do the killin' and one half to do the cleanin'? Ok.

Off topic but I saw a run over vulture yesterday, fuck whoever did that, those birds are awesome. I love them. I once had something dead drug into my yard by some local creature and I was trying to get myself psyched up to go deal with it but then, into my yard fly 4 vultures! When they left, no smell no mess, nothing. They are a miracle.

[-] Jarix@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

:) and they can metabolize anthrax that is sometimes present in some dead animals

I think they're basically describing bald eagles.

[-] Lux@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 day ago

The worst griffin is probably Meg

[-] MonkderVierte@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 day ago

Btw, do they poop before takeoff or in-flight?

[-] Atelopus-zeteki@fedia.io 2 points 2 days ago

"fight God for a 1/2 a bagel". LoL
