Plus, when you're done painting them, you can move them around a table with aquarium plants and make "BOOM" and "WAAAGH" noises while occasionally rolling dice and arguing about rules

It really is the perfect hobby

I may have just bought a starter set because I keep making up stories with the ones I've painted with my son.

I regret nothing

Get weird about that thing you're weird about

I want this cross stitched over my mantelpiece

[-] kersploosh@sh.itjust.works 17 points 1 year ago

I bet if you asked nicely in !lemmy_stitch@sh.itjust.works someone would make it for you.

[-] Semi-Hemi-Demigod@kbin.social 14 points 1 year ago

You had me at "get weird."

[-] Gnugit@aussie.zone 6 points 1 year ago

Damn, I need to go plant some trees now.

[-] Zorque@kbin.social 3 points 1 year ago

All my therapists keep saying getting weird about obsessing over all my failures isn't healthy, though...

[-] samus12345@lemmy.world 18 points 1 year ago

The guru specified that the weird thing gives you pleasure. It is pleasurable to obsess over your failures?

[-] Steeve@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 year ago

Don't kink shame

[-] Fosheze@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

I keep doing it so clearly it must be.

[-] samus12345@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Unfortunately, obsessing over things often doesn't have to do with pleasure.

[-] Zorque@kbin.social 0 points 1 year ago

As far as I know, cause nothing else is bringing me any kind of happiness. So It must be, right?

[-] samus12345@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Not necessarily. A lot of obsessive behaviors aren't pleasurable, actually.

psst, its a joke, kind of like the comic

[-] Sotuanduso@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago

Nah, I think the comic's pretty legit.

[-] cynar@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

The comic is a joke wrapped around a fundamentally good point. Your joke is poorly wrapped around a bad point.
