he'll be that annoying flying thing that i forgot the name of
Tingle?
Tongle is gonna be played by Jack Black and you know it.
Kooloo Limpah!!
Make him a young goron, alongside The Rock as an elder goron
And Jack Black will be the voice and mo-cap for Fi.
If Link says anything other than "Hup!" & "Hyyah!" I'm out.
Considering how much rizz link usually has, he’s 100% a mute bard
Well excuuuuuuuuse me, princess!
“I’m so hungry, I could eat an Octorok!”
Just once. Right at the end of the movie.
very promising sign that they're casting for the roles instead of casting for recognizable names. i am cautiously optimistic
Possibly, but it also keeps the budget much lower. Are they casting the best people, or good people who also don't ask for a huge budget?
People young enough whose performance will define the role rather than the role being defined by a well known face. The question will be settled when they announce Ganondorf.
Chris Pratt as Link!
Jack Black as Tingle
edit: no wait, Danny Devito as Tingle
Jack black as gorons. All of them, the whole race.
Taika Watititi as Ganon and also directing
Andy Serkis as Epona.
And also the voice of Hestu the korok
Okay, Taika doing hetsu's dance is something I need in my life.
Danny Devito as the Great Fairy.
While wearing his glasses.
I'd watch either of those
Yeah I've got to say it is a very positive sign that I don't know either of these actors. Also helps with suspension of disbelief.
Definitely, and it's also wild just how out of left field these choices feel in general. Which is a good thing!
I hope 3/4 of the budget goes into smashing pots.
I mean, that is one way to make rupees.
Don't forget all the bush trimming.
... no, no THAT!!!
It'll never beat the cd-i
Mah boi.
Not Hunter Schafer. I'm out.
Looks like they're going younger with the casting. The characters are kids in most of the games after all.
My hopes raised and expertly dashed. 🙃
Somehow didn't expect them to pick such a young actor for Link, even though it does correspond to Link's age in many of the games.
I'm really curious to see more of this movie. I think Zelda is a really difficult series to adapt well.
I predict the movie itself will be kind of meh, but the soundtrack will be awesome
who?
Prediction: this will suck.
I'm not confident about it, but I sure hope you're wrong!
Today's image of the pair looks to feature the actors in some sort of costume for their roles
Actors wear costumes? Youdontsay.jpg
What, they're making a zelda movie?
Yes. Finally.
I remember reading about a film studio acquiring the rights to make a Zelda and a Metroid movie way back in or just after high school and then it just never happened and that's how I came to learn that sometimes studios buy the rights for a thing not to make the thing, but to prevent a competitor from making that thing.
Ah like those fantastic four movies
