I remember watching the DVD extras and the director was just a cranky jerk. He was saying how it upset him that people wanted to see how films were made, don't ruin the magic. The fact that they included that clip in the behind the scenes featurette suggests to me that they didn't like him that much.

I saw this in the cinema and was disappointed that there was only a single bullet-time sequence in the film - and it was rubbish. I seem to recall I felt their interpretation of the story was a bit naff too when a more realistic approach would have fit well.
My memory is a 6.5/10 film. Not awful but falling short in many areas.
But maybe, just maybe, the Blu-ray will do it some justice.
It will make the terrible movie look pretty.
The thing is people expected it to be like the games. If you do not consider the games and keep this separate, it's a great film!
... "Great" might be stretching it.
iPod hooked up to a CRT TV (yeah, remember when that was a thing?).
I don't! But it sounds like fun.
Oh it was great. You get a 3.5mm headphone jack cable with three connectors, but instead of stereo and microphone they’re mapped to the white-red-yellow stereo and composite video connectors at the other end, et voilà! MP4 video on your CRT! Depending on the quality of your video it was essentially like DVD.
Maybe the most authentic way to watch above film?
I mean it was fine. I don't think they needed to include the actual "valkyries" or whatever at the end cause that kinda threw it off. yeah I get it, he's on the drug, I don't need to see actual valkyries to understand this. it's like taking shrooms and then all you see is mushrooms everywhere.
"Integral"
It's just as good as Max Payne 3.
