Without a hint of irony, the two actors on that show with the best range.
I think my favorite is Seven as The Doctor pretending to be Seven. Ryan absolutely nailed Picardo's mannerisms, speech patterns, and body language while adapting those to play her own character.
Yes, splendid episode. They also acted the hell out of Someone to Watch Over Me, though that one ends on a bit of a downer.
That episode must have been so much fun to make
For sure. And if not fun, at least delicious:
Forget the title, but the other one where Ryan gets to flex her skills (and do a rare bit of comedy) is when she's infected by the sabotaged Borg ~~viniculum~~ ~~vinculum~~ plot device and one of the personalities is a Ferengi.
That one always brings me pleasure to hear her pronounce Melbourne correctly
I'm gonna have to pay attention when that episode comes up. I didn't know there was a wrong way to pronounce Melbourne lol
MelBORRRRN is usually how most americans massacre it
While we're at it, it's also not can-berra. It's canbrah
Melbn.
Wow. Unexpected “thanks, Obama.”
I honestly feel bad for Robert Picardo. He must've had such horrible back pain from carrying that entire show by himself for 3 seasons.
Bald is beautiful.
He gets so excited he messes his chair, so they had to put a blanket over it.
After reading this comment I'm certain I'm in the bad timeline now
That’s how I felt after watching Star Trek Picard.
I'm choosing to look at it like the chair is on yellow alert just in case.
Something is wrong with this image
Like, "feels wrong" or isn't loading? I ask because the original source is flaky and I attached it through my instance's image cache/proxy.
It feels wrong
Robert Picardo wrote an episode of Voyager (I think the only other cast regular to write a TV episode was Majel Barrett) that featured himself as 2 characters. Sometimes if you want screen time you just make it yourself.
Or it could have been the unceasing demand of enthralled adoring fans.
Lol when did it stop being a common marketing tactic?
Touche, but I think it did scale back at least for a while in the mid to late 2000's didn't it?
I haven't seen a commercial since I cord-cut in 2009, so I may be a bit out of the loop when it comes to current advertising trends, haha. If I see an ad on any device in my network, I go to red alert until I patch the security breach that allowed the ad in.
Well now that you mention it, I've been ad free since like 2014, but it was def still rampant with the sexualization then lol
I'm the same way, I drop everything when an ad makes its way through my many layers of blocking lol, I don't even make exceptions for the spouse and kid's ftp games, they want to see that shit they can drop to cellular data LMAO
if you want to see a mustachio'd robert picardo as a foul-mouthed angry police lieutenant, go watch that movie dead heat. top 5 best worst movies ever.
he's also meg mucklebones in legend
From around Nov-Dec last year.
saves comment
after you watch dead heat, watch gunmen with christopher lambert and mario van peebles-- patrick stewart plays an evil foul-mouthed crime boss and dennis leary is his henchman
Who the fuck downvoted this? The doctor is second in sex appeal only to my own.
Ladies, his eyes are down here.
