“I don’t know if I would vote for any female,” said state senate hopeful Mylie Biggs, the daughter of GOP Rep. Andy Biggs.

Note: The article is from August 6th, but it's too funny not to post.

Spoiler: She doesn't think she is a woman. That's why she isn't including herself mentally into the woman group.

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 15 points 14 hours ago

I want to know why that sandwich maker is out of the kitchen and talking to, well, anyone?

Christ, us real men know that women are too emotional to be allowed to talk out loud like that, and in public too!!!
This feeeemale needs a good real man to slap her back in line if you ask me, preferably with the back of a bible to really hit home how far she's travelled from its values!!

Also, guns and big trucks! GUNS AND TRUCKS! pew pew pew.

Either:

A) you’re wrong, which means I shouldn’t vote for you, or

B) you’re right, which means I shouldn’t vote for you

[–] partial_accumen@lemmy.world 52 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

If you don't vote for her, you're endorsing her statement against women holding office. Checkmate liberals! /s

Catch 22 was a great book

[–] DreamAccountant@lemmy.world 19 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Outright contradictions don't faze religious people. Their entire religious hate book is completely filled to the brim with contradictions. Thou shalt not murder, now kill the firstborn - as an obvious example.

How detached from reality? So detached that they are a woman running for office on a platform that women should not run for office.

Religious people don't care. They just want to know who is going to force your children to praise that fuckwit jebus in schools for 12 years.

No, she is just a man. She thinks of herself as a man. But she can't be trans, she has to hide that. So she does so, badly, just like Pearl. They are men in their own minds.

[–] QuentinCallaghan@sopuli.xyz 75 points 21 hours ago (5 children)

I can't just understand women who degrade themselves like this.

[–] architect@thelemmy.club 9 points 16 hours ago

I’m convinced it’s a sex thing leaking out. They are so repressed they don’t even realize it’s a kink.

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 29 points 21 hours ago

Stockholm syndrome burned in over a lifetime of culturally-acceptable brainwashing. Wouldn't want to go against what Pastor McGrifty said last Sunday, would we? That's a good little second-class citizen (at best).

[–] InternetCitizen2@lemmy.world 14 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

It makes more sense during sex, but yeah its off putting in other contexts.

[–] captain_aggravated@sh.itjust.works 4 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Does it? I'm aware of, but do not personally get, the humiliation kink.

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 5 points 16 hours ago

Some women like that shit in bed, but aren't like that in day-to-day life.

SOURCE: Had sex with 50+ women. They all be different. Because they're humans. We're weird.

[–] gravitas_deficiency@sh.itjust.works 5 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Radtrads are more than a wee bit insane

[–] DriftingLynx@lemmy.ca 2 points 4 hours ago

Yup their dial goes to 11.

[–] DreamAccountant@lemmy.world 3 points 17 hours ago

Read any religious text and it'll become clear very quickly. Abusive religions turn people into both abusers and the abused, and if you don't believe me, you'll burn forever in a pit of boiling fire. That's what religious people think. I think you'll be just fine. Especially without those fucked up religions, and the fucked up religoius people that support them.

Women shouldn't wear makeup, says woman wearing all-natural foundation and mascara.

[–] MyOpinion@lemmy.today 41 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Please stop supporting these morons.

[–] LifeInMultipleChoice@lemmy.world 17 points 21 hours ago

If I remember she's running because Daddy told her too. He's moving to another position.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 5 points 15 hours ago

then why isnt she isnt in the kitchen making sandwich and pregnant, shes doesnt know her place.

[–] rc__buggy@sh.itjust.works 34 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

huh. so "sleeper female".

Probably going to just ask dad how she should vote on any particular issue. So he'll get to be governor and still control the seat he vacated.

That's genius. Evil, but genius.

[–] halcyoncmdr@lemmy.world 16 points 18 hours ago (2 children)

It's not genius, that's how political dynasties work. It's why having entire families in politics usually leads to terrible outcomes.

[–] chaosCruiser@futurology.today 7 points 17 hours ago

May not be genius, but it works to some extent. Dynasties have been very popular for millennia, so that means it’s at least somewhat successful. Probably not good for the nation or the citizens, but at least dynasties don’t implode during the first year.

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 4 points 16 hours ago

Works for a generation or three, eventually crashes.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 6 points 15 hours ago

Ok Serena joy. Go make sandwiches and stfu

[–] tal@lemmy.today 9 points 18 hours ago* (last edited 17 hours ago)

I was going to ask whether she would vote against herself if her opponent is male, but it looks like she's ahead of the ball on that one:

https://cactuspolitics.com/2025/08/mylie-biggs-wants-to-lead-the-state-but-says-women-should-stay-home/

She criticized "modern feminism" and its impact, specifically mentioning concerns "starting with women's right to vote."

EDIT: Ah, looks like they included that quote in the submitted article too.

Sweet Jesus I wouldn't marry a soft brain like her if she blew me twice every day and invited her sexy friends to do the same. Imagine if you trusted her to do anything that required even the basics of intelligence or morals.

[–] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 5 points 14 hours ago

I was with you until "and invited her sexy friends to do the same." Are the sexy friends also blowing me twice a day? Each!? How many friends? Honestly, I could maybe deal with that. That's a lot of variety to help put up with her bullshit for awhile, at least.

[–] rikudou 4 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

I wish people would stop conflating intelligence and populist talk by politicians. That statement doesn't have anything to do with being smart or dumb, it's just a statement that is more likely to win her office because she knows her audience well. Her audience doesn't want a strong independent woman there, they want someone who will tell them they're right in their sexism. If it's a woman, even better! They have an argument that "even that woman says so."

So if anything, either she or her advisors are definitely smart enough to recognise that.

[–] Zedd_Prophecy@lemmy.world 5 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

I disagree. Don't underestimate stupid. I can see someone being a pawn but you can't say it's all puppets.

She's not like the other girls.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 9 points 21 hours ago

Quite a conundrum.

I’d explore the virtues of other candidates.

[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 4 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

Too many contaminates in the public water supply, if you ask me

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 4 points 19 hours ago

Fluoridation of our precious bodily fluids.

[–] dragonfucker@lemmy.nz -5 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Drag absolutely believes women should hold offices, and more of them than they currently do. But drag understands how this might not be a contradiction. There's a difference between "women are wrong for holding office" and "the law is wrong for letting women hold office".

The Satanic Temple believes religion shouldn't be shoved in people's faces, but they shove religion in people's faces. They're doing it to try and get it banned. The President shouldn't have the authority to order extrajudicial killings, but drag wishes Joe Biden had ordered an extrajudicial killing of Trump.

The Republicans are willing to break the rules they believe in to enforce those rules. We should be willing to do that too. Because otherwise we're like Joe Biden.

[–] CileTheSane@lemmy.ca 1 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

I spent half that post wondering who the fuck you were talking about

[–] Lumisal@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

It's just someone on Lemmy who discredits transexuals by insisting their pronouns are Drag because they're a dragon. Like the edgy attack helicopter kids. What's worse is I think some people on the original blahaj defended it.
