I'm being a lazy sack. I skimmed the article but didn't find an amount they won it for, has anyone seen how much they just paid the man who needs to pay his dues?

If that were true he'd have more votes. He has the same really, less of you account for population growth. In reality, a lot of people just didn't vote.

Biden will step down of course, but it is absolute nonsense that our justice system ever let it get this far with him.

Well the issue as I see it is the courts. The insurrection clause was already written and amended into the constitution. Colorado took him off the ballot for it, the SC said he couldn't be taken off the ballot for it, not answering to whether he could hold office. They avoided it because they would have to state that The Oval Office, is an office. If brought before the courts now, they would have to rule again, saying that the he doesn't fit into these terms

"No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same . . ."

He took the oath of office upon entering his presidency. The presidential position is listed, he is also a military office.

Was Jan 6 an insurrection or an act of rebellion? Was calling Georgia and telling them to make up votes and act of rebellion? Was calling Nevada and telling them to change the electors and act of rebellion?

If the Supreme court says they are not. Biden has legal right to call all 50 states and tell them to submit new electors for whomever he wants and cannot be held responsible.

If they rule they are an act of rebellion, than he legally cannot hold office.

If you're from Florida as you say you would know what he did was absolutely illegal, and what you did was legal. Florida always has had age gap laws defined around consent so long as the guardian doesn't disagree with their relationship. (Called the Romeo and Juliet laws).

They specified a 16 or 17 year old could sleep with up to a 23 year old if all parties are agreed (guardian permission would usually be needed). 24 Rape.

Everyone I knew in school knew that, because if a 17 year old sneaks in to party with a fake ID people at 18 were already worried., and 21 were extremely cautious)

Lobbying against the rich lobbying with more money to take down restrictions that will free up more money for them. Maybe I'm just a bit bleak about it all, but my pessimism can't see how it would work.

Well let's hope it's a chase I stay 5 years behind you until our end days. : )

Nah, I just wanted to make sure it was obvious to others that part was a joke. I updooted you in a comment you made lower in the comments. I figured you were a person with good intent making a comment involving passion. Something I direly need to learn from. Controlling my responses hasn't always been great. As for the Catholics, I can't speak much of anything about them I suppose anymore. I left their following more than 20 years ago now, and I hope they grow better as I don't think they are going to disappear any time soon. I also need to give up drinking, but for sake of words, I say let's drink to a better future.

Was with you until you thought pointing and laughing would help make someone see the light

Those look pretty cool, Im not sure where I would use it yet, but I'm sure they will end up being useful for various things. A lot of displays in dashboard look displeasing to the eye to me, I'm sure curving screens could help with that. I foresee many a dick joke being made with them as well. (Couldn't help myself)

It doesn't help anything but if you consider that our population grew by 6 million during that time and 22% (kids) can't vote. Then say that only 46% of the population votes... Trump should have had right over 2 million more votes this election, aka he lost votes when accounting for population growth.

It isn't hard for me to believe that 1 in 8 people would refuse to vote for someone because their gender or color.

On a side note, I'm getting older and losing touch with new music, but are women's punk rock bands not as popular as I once remember them being or what? The world could use a little more fuck the patriarchy.

I had a officer intentionally send me in the wrong direction today when I asked about the polls after doing so, I went back and recorded asking him about if he was new to the area, in which you can clearly see him lie, then fake describe the building where he knew voting was. After all.. he was an officer there for a specific reason today.
